2012 PSLE Results Released

The results show a slight improvement with about 64.7% candidates awarded grades A-C compared to 64% of the candidates awarded grades A-C in 2011.

Performance in grade A remains the same at about 13%. The proportion of candidates awarded B in 2012 is 15.1% compared to 15.9% in 2011 while 36.7% is awarded grade C in 2012 compared to 35.2% in 2011, representing an increase of about 1.5%.

The percentage of candidates awarded grade D in 2012 is 34.6% compared to 32.7% awarded grade D in 2011. The percentage of candidates awarded grade E dropped by 2.5% from 3.2% in 2011 to 0.7% in 2012.

Performance in Science and Mathematics improved by 2.5% and 1.7% respectively in 2012.
