BEC RETURNS THE FAVOUR

Ditirafalo Seboleo of Ratholo could testify that indeed blessed is the hand that gives. The disabled twenty year old received a P5000.00 cheque from BEC as a token of appreciation for his cover page photo used on the BEC special needs pamphlet.

Though Ditirafalo had not requested for any form of payment BEC management deemed it fit to reward his good gesture. The former Moeng college student was presented the cheque on the 27 of June 2013 by BEC special needs office at his home village of Ratholo in the presence of his parents, the village chief Kgosi Seane Motswagole and the local medical clinic representatives.

Ditirafalo was born without limbs and relies heavily on his feet to aid him. He sat for his BGCSE exams last year and used his feet to wright. He only managed 20 points for his efforts and is pleading for help of any so that he can further his studies . “All I want is an opportunity to further my studies so that I can be able to provide for myself and my family in future” said Ditirafalo.

Despite using his feet, Ditirafalo’s work of art is so good and endorses the statement that disability is not inability.  One can only imagine what a fine artist the young man would make given the support and right structures.
