COVID-19 NOTICE TO MAY/JUNE 2020 CAMBRIDGE ASSESSMENT INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION IGCSE, GCE O’ LEVEL AND AS/A LEVEL EXAMINATIONS PRIVATECANDIDATES

Botswana  Examinations   Council  would like   to   inform  all   private  candidates  that   theCambridge   International   May/June   2020   examination   for   all   qualifications   has   beencancelled with immediate effect due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus.  Kindly note that candidates have an option to defer their funds to the October/November2020 series.  Request to defer funds should be written to the Chief Executive Officer,Botswana Examinations Council, Private Bag 0070, Gaborone.  Candidates are to dropthe letter at the BEC Record Management Unit after the lockdown, or just drop an emailto bmmatli@bec.co.bw.   BEC   is  currently   monitoring   the   situation   and   will   provide   an  update   to   the   privatecandidates as and when there are new developments.  For more information on the above matter please contact the Botswana Examinations Council on 3650700 and 3650837/909/913 after the lockdown.
